Family-owned, Advent Tool and Manufacturing, Inc., engineers and manufactures high-precision tooling products sold to customers worldwide. Founded in 1974, Advent supplies to companies in a wide variety of industrial verticals, including transportation, electrical components and systems, defense, energy, and telecommunications.

Advent worked with the Milwaukee 7 to estimate and compare immediate and long-term costs of moving to Wisconsin and identify a building and community that fit their needs. Advent now occupies 25,000 square feet of space in the Salem Industrial Park and expects to employ 23 workers, primarily skilled machinists, by 2022.
