Data centers are the new buzz for construction and development in Wisconsin as tech companies look to the Great Lakes for abundant, undeveloped land and a steady supply of fresh water. These high-tech facilities, which store and process large amounts of data, are becoming more sought after as artificial intelligence development advances.

Business and civic leaders from around the area joined Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley recently to show support for the county’s recent federal grant application to build an international terminal at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport.  

Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport is one of just 10 airports across the U.S. to receive an Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Service Quality (ASQ) award in 2023.
