M7 Partnership
M7 was established in 2005 to lead business attraction, retention, and expansion efforts across southeast Wisconsin. Representing Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington, and Waukesha counties, M7 helps build our economy by supporting businesses that export goods and services outside the region. These businesses bring new revenue and higher paying jobs into the region. Every job they create has a multiplier effect that leads to more indirect and induced jobs.
M7 is the economic development arm of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) -- the region's chamber of commerce.
Attract and land new companies
M7 markets the seven-county Milwaukee region globally, from companies across the state line to multinationals choosing their North American footprint. M7 serves as a one-stop shop to guide companies through the relocation process, from their first visit to grand opening.
Help local businesses grow
M7 partners with economic development organizations throughout the region to find solutions for companies looking to expand, including providing resources to help navigate real estate, financing, talent sourcing, and incentives.
Build the startup ecosystem
Through the MMAC's entrepreneurship initiative launched in 2022, M7 is actively growing the region's early-stage company environment, connecting founders to capital, mentorship, and the established corporate ecosystem.
