- Ozaukee County covers 233 square miles of land making it the second smallest county in Wisconsin by land area. The county’s jurisdiction also extends over 883 square miles of water, most of which is in Lake Michigan.
- In 2021 and 2022, Ozaukee County was ranked #1 as the healthiest county in Wisconsin based on a study from the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute and the Robert Wood Johnson foundation.
